A&P Show

Last week we made two novelty's for the A&P show. A fruit & vege novelty & a biscuit. I did a elephant & an out of this world biscuit.   I used a malon, dried mango, and five carrots to make it.

Dear Board of Trustees,

I do not believe that we should have Bring your own Device

(BYOD). BYOD is when you bring a device to school to help you with your learning . Firstly some people want the school to buy

them and they cost a lot of money.  For example an I PAD 2 cost around $800.

Another reason is that lots of children already have time at home on devices. Plus its bad for your eyes.

Another reason is it would be unfair because 75% of mum’s & dad’s say NO they would not let their child bring a device to school.

What about viruses.  For example a boy was playing a game & one came up & he clicked on it & it deleted all the games? You can see an inappropriate site like swear words!!!

Another reason is that the school must provide internet. This will be expensive for the school! We already have an i pad for Room 5 and I believe that this is enough. In the future probably all of us will have an i pad so we can spend time when we’re older on them.

In conclusion I strongly believe NCS should not have BYOD because kids have time at home and its bad for your eye site. I hope you agree.
